MiniStays is a platform that connects guests with hosts offering fully furnished housing for 30 days or more. It was built specifically for mid-term rentals, including traveling professionals, students, military personnel, medical workers, and anyone who needs a comfortable home away from home for a month or longer.
Guests search for properties by location and dates, then either book instantly or send a booking request to the host. Hosts list their furnished properties, set pricing and availability, and manage bookings from their dashboard. All payments, messaging, and booking management happen through the platform.
Creating an account, browsing listings, and messaging hosts are all free. MiniStays does not charge a service fee to guests or hosts. There is a small processing fee that covers the cost of securely handling payments. Beyond that, the price you see on a listing is the price you pay, and hosts receive exactly what they list.
Click "Sign Up" from the homepage and enter your name, email, and a password. You will need to verify your email address and phone number. To book a property or list one, you will also need to complete identity verification by uploading a government-issued ID.
MiniStays accepts credit cards and debit cards. All payments must be made through the platform. Cash, checks, and off-platform payments are not accepted and violate our terms of service.
MiniStays has built-in messaging so guests and hosts can communicate directly within the platform. You can ask questions about a listing, coordinate check-in details, or report issues, all from your dashboard. Keeping communication on-platform ensures everything is documented and both parties are protected.
Click "Log In" and then "Forgot Password." Enter the email address associated with your account and you will receive a link to create a new password. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.
Go to your Profile page and scroll to the bottom, where you will find the option to delete your account. Please be aware that this action is irreversible. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.
Safety is core to MiniStays. All users must complete identity verification, and hosts can optionally require guest background checks. Payments are processed securely through the platform using Stripe, and in-app messaging keeps all communication documented. If anyone asks you to pay or communicate outside MiniStays, report it immediately.
